The human capacity to show grace and forgiveness is nothing compared to God’s grace and forgiveness.

Moses ends his time with the Israelites giving them a hope for the future. There will be a time, Moses says, when a true follower of God will be transformed, not by external laws, but from a changed heart.
The book of Deuteronomy recaps Israel’s history from slavery in Egypt to the doorstep of the Promised Land. For us it reminds us that our God is everlasting and even in times of crisis, he is still on his throne.
